I recently designed a logo for my friend’s photography business, Photos.by.Haylee, incorporating her vision and brand identity. Since she wanted a camera to be the focal point, I made sure it stood out prominently in the design. To create a cohesive look, I matched the typography to the one she uses on her website, ensuring consistency with her brand. One of my favorite design elements was integrating the camera lens into the word “Photo” by replacing the “o” with a lens, tying everything together in a creative and meaningful way. The final result is a sleek and professional logo that truly represents her passion for photography.

Before finalizing the logo for Photos.by.Haylee, I wanted to gather feedback from both Haylee and other graphic designers to ensure the design aligned with her brand’s theme. Their input was invaluable in refining the concept. One key suggestion was to enhance the integration of the camera by making the “o” in “Photo” resemble an actual camera, further emphasizing her craft. Additionally, it was recommended to use a sans-serif font for the bottom of the logo to create a cleaner, more modern look. I also took the extra step of customizing the camera illustration to match the exact model Haylee uses, making the logo feel even more personal and representative of her work.
