I’ve enjoyed making simple animations that were both fun to create and visually playful. These projects allowed me to experiment with motion in a lighthearted way, bringing charm and energy to my designs.
I created this video in After Effects with the theme of “unnatural but creative.” The concept features a picture of my sister with a flower placed inside her eye, creating a surreal and imaginative visual. I also added bees flying toward her, which helped bring movement and life into the design. The goal was to create something that felt dreamlike, unexpected, and artistic while showing how ordinary photos can be transformed into a unique visual story through editing and motion graphics.
For this video, I created a class project where we had to animate stick figures. My animation showed a stick figure playing soccer, but I added a creative and funny twist to make it more interesting. When the stick figure kicked the soccer ball, the ball ended up knocking off his head and becoming his new head. This project helped me practice basic animation, movement, timing, and storytelling while also adding humor and creativity to a simple stick figure scene.
For this project, I created an Instagram introduction video for my friend’s photography business. The goal was to make a short and visually appealing intro that could help introduce her brand on social media in a professional way. I wanted the video to feel creative, welcoming, and connected to photography, while also helping her business stand out online. This project allowed me to practice creating social media content, using motion graphics, and designing a visual introduction that supports a small business brand.
For this project, I wanted to create a one-minute video showing viewers how to make crepes in an effective and well-paced way. The goal was to keep the video clear, organized, and easy to follow while still making it visually engaging. I focused on showing the important steps of the process, from preparing the ingredients to cooking the crepes, so viewers could understand how to make them without feeling rushed or confused. This project helped me practice video editing, pacing, and creating instructional content that is both helpful and enjoyable to watch.
